Age Level Appropriateness
- Children’s Movement - Ages 3 to 5
- Beginner I – Ages 5 to 7
- Beginner II – Ages 7 to 9 With Some Experience
- Intermediate – Ages 10 to13
- Teen – Ages 13 to 20
- Advanced – Ages 14 to Adult
- Adult – Any Adult of Any Age
The Gervais Dance Studio groups Dancers according to age, not ability. It is our firm belief that students placed with their peers will respond to learning and accomplishing dance technique more rapidly than students placed with dancers younger or older than they are. The GDS reserves the right to place dancers in appropriate classes dependent on age and ability. We ask parents to be patient in this placement process. We will do everything possible to place dancers with their friends in class.
