- Dance sweaters/warm-up attire is acceptable
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
- NO STREET SHOES, CLOTHING
- Hair neatly pulled away from face.
CODE OF ETHICS
- Dancers will treat themselves with respect, as well as their instructor and fellow dancers.
- Profanity and rude comments are absolutely not allowed.
- Dancers will not bring cell phones to class. Phones may be left in bags or in waiting room area.
- Dancers will maintain good conduct and respect for other dancers from all other schools and academies at all times. The Gervais Dance School is friendly to other dance institutions.
OTHER RULES
- Only water is permitted in the Dance Studio.
- Birthday treats may be brought in if previously arranged with the teacher.
- No gum chewing. It is a health risk.
- Please ring the bell for someone to come and open the door for you.
- Please be patient and ring the bell several times. It will make a light go on in the studio.
- The teacher will come out and let parents in at the conclusion of each class after 7:00PM.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
- A newsletter will be distributed at the first class and at various times during the year to update dancers and their families of schedule, events, fun happenings, and news about the GDS.
- Snow cancellations will be on the web at our site and please sign up for an email to be sent directly to you. In addition, there will be a phone message no less than 1 hour before classes are cancelled. GDS will post on Channels 5 and 7.
