Welcome to Gervais Dance Studio

The Gervais Dance Studio is a small, personalized, artistic dance studio that offers the highest quality dance instruction to dedicated dancers. We offer the highest quality dance instruction from qualified, professional teachers, well schooled in their art. We will have one performance in June with minimal costuming and are not affiliated with dance competitions of any kind.

The Studio offers a diverse variety of classes for dancers aged 3 to adult.


AGE LEVEL APPROPRIATENESS:

  • Children’s Movement - Ages 3 to 5
  • Beginner I – Ages 5 to 7
  • Beginner II – Ages 7 to 9 with Some Experience
  • Intermediate – Ages 10 to13
  • Teen – Ages 13 to 20
  • Advanced – Ages 14 to Adult
  • Adult – Any Adult of Any Age

The Studio groups dancers according to age, not ability. It is our firm belief that students placed with their peers will respond to learning and accomplishing dance technique more rapidly than students placed with dancers younger or older than they are. The Studio reserves the right to place dancers in appropriate classes dependent on age and ability. We ask parents to be patient in this placement process. We will do everything possible to place dancers with their friends in class.

  • 2010 SUMMER SESSIONS & SUMMER DANCE!
    Summer 2010 Class Sessions are here! 3 and 6 week sessions are available and dancers OF ANY LEVEL may take summer classes and are encouraged to do so. It’s a great time to try something new! . Summer Dance (two 1-week sessions offered) promises a week of fun and technique for dancers ages 9-14. Daily training in jazz, ballet, tap, modern, choreography, lyrical and hip hop!     Registration for the 2010-2011 Season is now ongoing. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Many classes fill up fast so make sure to register early to ensure your spot. Please click here to access downloadable registration forms.
